Module 12 - A Love Letter

Now I want you to write a letter to yourself. Do not hold back.

A Love Letter

Get comfortable. You may want to light a candle or play lovely, meditative music but it’s not mandatory. Get a piece or two of stationary or notebook paper and a pen. Go into a meditative state. Remember the last exercise when you saw your true self in the mirror. Recall how that felt to truly be seen.

Now I want you to write a letter to yourself. Do not hold back. You are not going to be showing this to anyone. Approach it as if this is your last opportunity to tell your dearest friend in life how you feel about them. What do you want this friend to know about themselves? What have you held back from saying to them because of your social conditioning? Tell them how much you love them, what you admire about them, how they have made a difference in your life and the lives of others. From the depths of your Soul, what do you wish for them in this lifetime? Sign it with love.

Now, take a deep breath or two and read your letter as if you just received it from your dearest love.

Seal it up in an envelope and address it to yourself. Put it in a place where you will have access to it and open it in a year. Literally put a reminder in your electronic calendar for a year from now.

***Just a special note of thanks to my lifelong friend and fellow Spiritual Warrior Goddess, Cherie Meagher, www.coachcherie.com, for her love, support, laughs and positive influence on my life and healing process. We have been walking this journey for a very long time and I am so grateful for her wisdom and her patience.. This Love Letter is a version inspired by a process Cherie regularly uses in her workshop on the ABC’s of Abstinence
